Essay Questions
Two of the following essay questions will be on your exam. You will choose one to answer.
1. Explain the Bill Process. Essentially explain the process a bill goes through in order to become law. Be sure to discuss the obstacles that can occur in the process and how they can be overcome.
2. Discuss the difference between hard and soft money and the problems concerning the regulation of soft money. Be sure to also discuss the Federal Election Commission and the problems it deals with.
3. Discuss lobbying and its influence on government. Essentially, what is it, how does it work, how does it influence government, an example or two, and whether you think lobbying is good, bad or both.
