A solution has a hydroxide ion concentration of 3.1 x 10^-6M.
What is the hydrogen ion concentration?

I know the answer to this question is 3.2 x 10^-9M because I was given the answer key but I need to understand how actually work out the problem.

[oh]*[h]=1E-14

Solve for h

Those two multiplied together should always yield 1e-14

1*10^-14/(3.1*10^-6)
Round to 1 decimal
