How do you solve if x is an exponent?
Ex: 1400 = 5 x 2^n
i assume 1400 = 5*(2^n)
1400 / 5 = 2^ n
log_2 (1400/5) = n

How do you solve if x is an exponent?
Ex: 1400 = 5 x 2^n
1400 = 5 x 2^n => 280 = 2^n => n=log2(280) .... ie log2= logarithm to base 2
