i might actually be half retarded since i'm not sure which formula to use (i'll post the formulas in a new post in like 30 seconds or however long u have to wait.)


anyways, i tried using the 'difference rule' and got kind of a weird answer, so i'm not sure if i used wrong formula or just fucked it up.

Since you are subtracting the two terms, you can differentiate each one seperately. Treat the square root as a power of 1/2 and the cube root as a power of 1/3. Apply the power rule. If you can differentiate x^a - x^b, you can do this one too.
