Topic: Is the use of computer and technology slowly being replaced by the availability of knowledge? Or anything that could relate to computer taking over our lives, etc...

I think there is much greater reliancce on the computer and the web. Notice the couple of threads where peeps can't do their homework because certain sites are shutdown because of the government thing going on? Look back to last century. They would've simply gone to the library, pulled a book off of the reference shelf and had what they needed. I'm also guessing that peeps themselves have less knowledge because it's too easy to simply Google what you want to know.

Is that any help at all?

technology actually makes information (mostly rubbish though and little genuine knowledge) more available
so until people would have all relevant knowledge already absorbed you need technology to distribute information/knowledge
which by any reasonable logic means that the answer to your question is a clear NO
