An irregular conductor carries a surface charge density of -6.75 µC/m2 at and in the vicinity of a point P on the surface. An electron is released just above P outside the conductor. (ε0 = 8.85 × 10-12 C2/N · m2, e = 1.60 × 10-19 C, m el = 9.11 × 10-31 kg)

F=qE and F=ma , E=a( for example, a=gravity field, and E= electric field), mass and charge can be viewed the same too

so, ma=F=qE

opposite signs= attract, same signs repel

E, your electric field isn't given. but can be found by relation of charge density and ε0
