The polynomial 16 x^{18} - 49 y^{8} can be factored into the product of two polynomials, A x B where the coefficient of y in A is greater than the coefficient of y in B. Find A and B.

need help with this question D:

i need to do about 8 problems in 2 hours, if cant be done im willing to pay someone to do it

is this what you're looking for?
(4x^(9) - 7y^(4)) * (4x^(9) + 7y^(4))
if so, just reverse FOIL it


E: nvm, didn't see the bit about the y coefficient being larger in one

double Edit: +7 is in fact larger than -7, so it is correct, lol

i did this, according to web work its wrong O_O

hmm, it does say the coefficient of y in A is the larger one, so it may want it in that order. That's the only thing that comes to mind other than playing around with the x-coefficient also (which would be a pain in the ass)

1) Evaluate the expression 8^{-4/3}

2) The polynomial 64 x^{2} +48 x^{1} y^{6} + 9 y^{12} can be factored into the product of two polynomials, A x B where the coefficient of y in A is greater than or equal to the coefficient of y in B. Find A and B.

3) If you rationalize the denominator of
1/{7\sqrt{5}-2\sqrt{3}}
then you will get
{r\sqrt{5}+s\sqrt{3}}/{n}
where r, s, and n are all positive integers (with no common factors).

4){x^2 - (6 x + 4)}/{x^2+1 x +8} + {-4 x^2 + 8 - 3 x}/{-8 - 1 x -x^2}={A}/{B}

5) Simplify the expression
{1}/{x^2+4 x+4} - {1}/{x^2-3 x - 10}
and give your answer in the form of
{f(x)}/{g(x)}.
