1. helium has a density of 0.017 g/L. what is the volume of a weather balloon that contains 38g of helium?

How do I do this? Do I just multiple .017 g/L by 38 and get 0.646 L?
Or do I divide 38 by .017?

2. how many 335mL of cans soda does it take to fill up 1.0m^3 tank?

1 I would assume so for your level of chem, especially if nothing else was given. Mass (g) / density (g/L) = L as final units

2. You know 1 cm^3 is 1 ml. Convert 1m^3 to cm^3

First one is a simple conversion, just align the units so they cancel out and you're left the liters for volume

38g * (1L/0.017g) -> the grams unit cancels out and you're left with 38/0.017 with L as unit (answer can depend if your teacher wants significant digits applied)


Second question uses 1mL = 1cm^3 , so just make a large unit conversion table
