If anyone could describe the power of the papacy in the 13th century, and it's effects on the church I would appreciate it.
I know that the centralization of the papacy undermined the church spiritually, and gave it the power to have a system of fixed clerical taxation, but I'm not too sure what else to write, simply because the textbook segment is so wordy.
I'm doing a chapter outline from a textbook, and I will be using the notes I take on tests and graded discussions in class, so any information would be useful!
Thanks for any help, it is much appreciated
