Ok so essentially I procrastinated in doing physics in the first year of my undergrad, now I am about to go into my fourth and decided to take it online this summer.

I procrastinated this summer and now I have to do all of first year physics in twelve days.

I am going to be working on assignments I have to hand in all day today and tomorrow, these assignments are worth 20% of my grade so it is important that I do well on them, HOWEVER I want to learn the material so I am not looking for you to do the assignments for me.

I am wanting to send you my answers and you proof read them or w/e, I really really want to get the full 20%, in the event that I am a total idiot I would really appreciate if you told me where I went wrong and possible the direction look into so I can solve my problem.

I have two methods of payment to return the favor for helping me.

1) anything you ever need to know about ochem I will tutor the shit out of you untill you get 100% on any exam

2) If you are lame and don't want to learn about chem I will pay the FG's.

I will give you FG based on how much you help me on the certain question, but I assure you that my mark in this class means way way way more to me then all of my FG so I will be very generous.

I am going to start at a base rate of 150fg per question and depending on how terrible at physics I am it is going to go up.

I do not just want to post the questions here as it is an online course so post here and I will PM you my work.

yolo ill post one.

OK question was

4.0 kg toboggan rests on a frictionless icy surface, and a 2.0 kg block rests on top of the toboggan. The coefficient of static friction μs between the block and the surface of the toboggan is 0.58, whereas the kinetic friction
coefficient is 0.48. The block is pulled by a horizontal force of 30 N as shown.
a. Calculate the block’s acceleration.
b. Calculate the toboggan’s acceleration
c. If the applied force is gradually reduced, at what value do the block
and the toboggan have the same acceleration?

so for a) normal force of the block = 2x9.8 so 19.6N, so friction = 0.48 x 19.6 or 9.408, then do 30-9.408 = 20.6N which is the real force, using F = M x A i can do 20.6 = 2 x A to get the acceleration of the rock to be 10.3m/s^2

b) Im pretty sure the toboggans movement is 100% accounted for by the friction caused so that means it is being pushed with a force of 9.408N so do that /4(mass of toboggan) = 2.35m/s^2 for the acceleration of it

c) I did pure yolo math here and just decided that this is basically saying when (friction / 4) = ((force - friction)/4) and I got the answer to be when a force of 14.1N is applied then they will both have the same acceleration.

did i do this right? Ty in advance for help

a and b have the correct answers, pretty sure
however, i am concerned on the perceived approach. show more work, assumptions

it means when there is no slip
so, calculate frictional force with static friction, .58
that's a good start
