Greetings folks

I'm looking for someone from an english speaking country, to be more specific, one of the following:
  • Great Britain
  • Ireland
  • United States of America
  • Canada
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • India
  • South Africa

As a part of my thesis for the course I'm currently studying, I'll be doing a short report including mandatory things such as population; Different ethnic groups, the language situation, geography, popular culture, traditions, literature, education, politics and national heroes and/or other famous persons. Through out the semester I'll be going in depth with the country and so this won't be a one-time thing, we'll communicate a few times and exchange experiences (mostly just me withdrawing information out of you :-))

I'm obviously looking for someone who has basic knowledge in the fields written in bold text above -- not asking for a someone with a Ph.D, just general knowledge about the country you would represent.

So which country to choose?
That's really up to you. If you're interested in helping me out, please write a short presentation and a few reasons as to why you're the ideal person!

Do not write if you're looking to net a sum of FG, I help others out of free will, that's what I'm hoping to get in return.

Thanks for reading my request! Have a nice day

I'd like to clarify that I'm not asking anyone to find out the information about said subjects, only answer questions I encounter about them, and it'll be once in a while, maybe a PM or two a week, not hourly sessions on a daily basis :P

I'm strongly leaning towards Canada, very interested in hearing from a Canadian!

there are quite a few canadians posting in gc/pard, so you might want to look there if you are desperate to find a single one answering your questions
and it might be better to post the odd question here rather than to expect someone to be 'on call'

with canada you will have a problem with 'the language situation though':
french, english, canadian, ameringlish and some indigenous languages ;)

where are you from btw?

You know what, that's actually not a bad idea! Reason I've chosen this method is that I was planning on quoting this person and crediting him for his involvement in my thesis.

I'm open to doing this. I'm American and live in a melting pot of a State of as well (California) so I'm around a lot of different culture, celebrities, ethnic mix, and language diversity.
