/hint google some and do at least part yourself also don;t forget that mythology is captured in folk tales as well

not prepared to give more pointers to someone who hasn't shown some effort himself

this isnt all of my homework on the assignment, and I will be editing/revising where i deem necessary on other's answers. Also will be doing some and taking them off the list as I complete them.
Plus im asking several users to pick and choose, not "another user" to fully complete. They are easy questions, but i dont have the time to do them all atm so im giving other people a chance to make a lil fg for their efforts. Your "YES" and "NO" does not follow my needs as answers anyways, so why post?

2. Why are stories of human and semi-divine heroes important in a culture?

stories of humans are some kind of commemorative culture they can be given verbal to the next generation or can be written/drawn... down anywhere. This keeps the culture alive and it won`t be forgetten on this way atleast it is harder to lose this culture. Furthermore it supports the togetherness within a culture and it makes easier for people to identify themselve with a specific culture.
semi-devine heroes are in my eyes often there to represent the culture as something special or even uber natural they are used to justiify the culture aswell ... people or even a whole culture identify themselves with the actions of these heroes which also leads to the fact that the togetherness gets a boost.

hope this helped you atleast with this point.

Question is confusing. Is it asking about Beowulf's importance in the story, or the importance of the epic of Beowulf?

You can easily say that it's not your full homework assignment. Despite that, you need to at least put in some effort in what you're doing.
You're just posting the questions, but these are all questions you may google or search elsewhere other than asking here, where you're likely to get varied answers.
