Stuck on this question which is in chapter "changing of base".
log(base2)x + log(base4)x = 2
I've tried changing the second term to base 2 and solving a quadratic but didn't work out lol.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
After you change the second term to base 2 combine the terms it's addition so multiply the x and number you got when you changed it to a base 2 log and then try to solve with only one term on each side.
Forgive me if I am wrong it has been a long time since I did logarithms. And if someone knows better please correct me.
