Why it's a pulley and how we know

Why is it called a pulley? Or how do we know it is a pulley?

Like basically... I need something that we use everyday as a lever, pulley, inclined plane, why we use it. How we know its one of those. And why it makes our lives dasier

A flagpole is an example of a pulley. Something like a flat head screwdriver is used as a lever if you're trying to get the top off a can of paint. An inclined plane? Try an on ramp to a highway.

Ever used one of those long scythe type things to prune high branches? It uses a string thing with a basic pulley I believe.

A wine corking device uses a lever in order for you to push the cork in. Same with a wine bottle opener...basic lever on there.

Inclined plane...a ramp to push stuff into a moving truck/take out a vehicle/wheel in old people lol.
