1.Elizabeth told Stacey that she should stop skipping classes. -> Stacey was told by Elizabeth to stop skipping classes. (We removed the 'she' in this case and reorganized the senteces), another way to structure it would be "Elizabeth told Stacey to stop skipping classes".

2.Brian doesn't like Mike to drive when he is in a hurry. -> Brian doesn't like when Mike drives in a hurry. (We removed the 'he') Another example would be: "Brian doesn't like Mike's hasty driving".

3.Anne could not talk to Tara because she was out of town. -> Anne couldn't talk to Tara since Tara was out of town. (remove the 'she') Another example: Anne and Tara couldn't talk because Tara was out of town. (Although I consider this to be weaker version of the first example).
