I'm doing a project where you have to find the rules for each section of a movie release. For example, the movie I got made $13,240,000 on the first day, and $14,790,000 on the second day.
I've already graphed it, but the slope comes out to be just the difference of (day2gross-day1gross).
I feel like I'm doing something wrong that is painfully obvious. Would the rule be f(x) = (1550000 if 1≤x≤2?) for the first set?
