So i have an assignment and basically I'm not politcial at all and am just looking for some brainstorming ideas to look up anyways this is what my professor asks:

Describe one concrete ORIGINAL examples of a recent threat (could be recent change in law or practice) that undermines democracy in the US. Explain HOW your example functions as a threat to democracy and the DEGREE to which you believe the example inhibits democracy in practice.
