yes but 1/3 is a fraction when multiplied is exzactly one, when you turn 1/3 into a decimel it becomes a approximation less than the real deal, make the decimel number = less than one

That's because a lot of people round it to x decimal places and anything less than infinitely recurring makes it inaccurate and rounded off.
