^^ those above spins where how many times the wheel rolled ?
dam that's a lot of tries before u loose, although it seems to vary a lot.

yes
You always lose in the long run, does it really matter how quickly it happens?

yep, the only way to win is to have some luck and get out while you are ahead
went to the casino in monte carlo once with the intention to waste 100 francs
after a good half hour we had won over 200 francs, so we put away 110 francs
ie the 100 we came in with and 10 as profit
and then we played on until the rest was gone :D
at least i can claim to have won at roulette

I've only played roulette once. I live in Las Vegas where gambling is legal and when I was younger I would cash my paychecks at the casino. They would spin a wheel and you would win something free when you cashed your check there. I once won a $5 roulette match play. The way this works is it is a coupon. To use the coupon you must bet $5 at roulette and surrender the coupon (only good for 1 bet!). Your bet then counts as a $10 bet. I bet on a color (can't remember, black or red), and won, so I received $15 ($5 from the original bet, and the payout for betting $10 and winning, so I won $10). I figured it would be the only chance I'd ever get to have the odds in my favor. In fact the only gambling I've ever done in a casino is "match play" gambling from similar situations.

You would either win or run out of money. You would have to start low to the point where it isnt even worth the risk. Say you start at $100. you would do:
100-200-400-800-1600-3200
that is 6 games and you would have lost $6300 if you lost all 6 while if you win any of the games you would only gain $100. In my opinion dont try to use math to figure out if you can win, it's random and luck. goodluck though!

living in las vegas that sounds like an achievement ;)
the stint in monte carlo was my only one as well, knowing how it all works kept me away from it - but visiting monte carlo on a holiday, what you do?
so we did the decent thing: having breakfast at the cafe de paris, looking at the other landmarks and enjoying the interior of the most famous casino in the world

some awesome replies guys love it, I understand what everyones saying, more risk then reward.

the only question is this

1.) what is the max bet on the wheel at any given casino(if you could double up so many times to where your chances of getting one win would be in the 98%+++ range then I don't think you could loose... it would take thousands of rolls... literally.
just depends what there limit is.

2.) at what point 'IF' you were winning would the casino kick you out?

Not sure what case you're trying to prove, I've done this numerous times irl & on jsp. Smoking weed has nothing to do with anything here & Im sure I have more street smarts & book smarts than you any day of the week.

1) depends on the casino, also theres still a chance of 2% that you would "even the odds", meaning be unlucky enough to lose everything (would take 30~70 rolls, not really thousands)

2) at any given point. its their casino :P
