Okay so the answer is 24(3g-5)? or 72g-120

Yes. That is the correct answer, and as Carte said, those are the same.

for 2.8 where did you get the ^5 I think i did something wrong

The exponent in the denominator was a 4.

You moved it into the numerator and it became a -4
You took the derivative (So you subtracted 1 from the exponent) making it -5

For the final answer, I moved it back into the denominator, making it 5. You don't have to do this, you could leave it in the numerator at -5 and be correct, I just don't like negative exponents in my final answers.
