Cade is planning a party for 50 people. He plans to buy one keg of root beer. A keg of root bee is cylindrical an is 13" in diameter and 17" tall. Cade plans to use mugs that are also cylindrical and 3" in diameter and 4 3/4 tall. Will there be enough root beer to serve at least one full mug?

I paid the last guy 40fg and the answer wasn't written out enough I need full equations shown and reasoning. Please and thank you. 50fg for everything written out and explained what you did and why. Thank you!
Making sense, communication/reasoning, accuracy, reflection are what it is graded on.

making sense)
I know:
cade is planning a party for 50 people
he plans to buy one keg of root beer, the keg is cylindrical and has a diameter of 13'' and is 17'' tall
I also know that the mugs used to hold the root beer are 3'' in diameter and are 4.75'' tall

I want to know:
if there is enough root berr to serve every person at least one full mug of root beer

communication/reasoning)
I know that the mugs and keg are a cylindrical shape meaning I need to use the formula to find the volume of each the keg and the mug
but I need to know if volume keg>= volume 50 mugs because there must be at least enough root beer for each person

the formula for the volume of a cylinder is pi r^2 h
where r is the radius and h is the height of the cylinder

to find the volume of the keg we need to realize that the diameter is equal to twice the radius so we need to cut it in half
d/2 = 13''/2 = 6.5''
now to substitute my answer into the equation
V keg = pi 6.5'' ^ 2 17''=718.25pi cubic in

now to find the volume of the mug again we are given the diameter so we must divide by two to find the radius
d/2 = r = 3/2 = 1.5''
now to substitute it into the equation for volume of a cylinder
v mug = pi * 1.5'' ^ 2 * 4.75'' = 10.6875 pi cubic in
but e need to know if each of the 50 people can have  at least one full much so we must multiply our answer by 50 ( one for each person)
50 * 10.6875 pi cubic in = 534.375 pi cubic in

since the volume of the keg is larger than the volume of 50 mugs  because
718.25pi cubic in > 534.375 pi cubic in

we can conclude that yes there will be enough root beer for each person to get at least one mug

accuracy ) above work is shown in detailed explanation

reflection) (you can solve it another way or simply reflect on the work you did if you want a higher grade solve it another way than I did )

I can conclude that my answer is the correct answer because I found that that the volume of the keg was greater than the volume of 50 mugs and since there are 50 people coming to cades party we can see that there will be enough for  each of the 50 people to have at least oe full mug of root beer

If this is what you were looking for........oh man.

This is what he said in his other thread requesting low level math help.

Lol, actually i am a senior, DO not do any math. I have a 3.4 g.p.a, and never have done Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2. I have others do it.
/E because im not a nerdgin and have other things to worry about. Example; Sports and Sunshine. Thanks, Faggots.
/E And i go to one of the best academy's there is.

Who can't do geometry.

Don't you just wanna hire him?

He has no intention of learning the problem. He asks us to work it out so complex so that he can copy paste and doesn't have to do or learn ANYTHING whatsoever, which, by the way, makes this an illegal thread.

Why not put some of that time into learning Geometry? It is incredibly simple.

this would likely be all 4s with maybe a 5 in comm/reasoning or making sense so its actually what is considered an "average" answer for these types of problems
