when u transform from current source into voltage soruce using the transformation, does it matter where u place the voltage source after it is transformed, left or right of the resistor?

I dont know why you want to avoid doing source transformations

think of this way :

1 - If you have a current source in parallel with a resistor, you can make it become in serie by multiplying it with the value of the resistance and switching the current source to a voltage source
2 - If you have a voltage source in series with a resistance, you can make it become in parallel by dividing it with the value of the resistance and switching the voltage source to a current source

It's like whenever youre expanding from parallel to serie, you multpliy the value
whenever you "shrink" from serie to parallel, you divide the value by the resistance

and no, it does not matter if you put the voltage to the right or the left

if you have a bunch of stuff in parallel, you can re-arrange the order as long as everything is still in parallel, so if you have like resistance - voltage-resistance
you can re-arrange it to be resistance-resistance-voltage and then you combine the resistance to have only 2 things in parallel

also : if you have two voltage sources in parallel, you can't combine them, but if you have two voltage sources in series you can combine them (watch the polarity of the source to know if you add or substract)
and if you have two current sources in series, you can't combine them but if you have two current sources in parallel you can combine them

i think u got it the other way around lol

usually when a resistor is in series with voltage u convert it to a current parallel to resistor. and vice versa lol
converting to voltage is I*R and converting to current is V/R

i dont want to transform the source and somehow place it incorrectly in a complex circuit wit other stuff happening in it.

i might just transform until theres 2 mesh's then use mesh anaylsis
