how about you include what equation you used? either you didn't input it correctly, you dont understand how to use it, or it doesn't support what you're trying to do. i just inputed a simple "x+3=1" and it told me "x = -2"

P(x) = 2x²-3x+3

Then P(-2) = ?

replace x with -2

2x²-3x+3
2(-2)²-3(-2)+3

was this really difficult for people? dropped out of high school and I got the answer in my head.
p(-2) = 2(-2)^2-3(-2)+3
2(4)-3(-2)+3
P(-2) = 8 - - 6 + 3
P(-2) = 8 + 6 + 3
P(-2) = 17 should be the answer to the question
P(-2)/-2 = 17/-2
P = -8.5

I'm guessing he wants to solve MANY of these without thinking about it lol

I would just make a program on my ti calc to do this...

really lazy. What's the point of being in school if you're just going to get something to do the thinking for you.
