cheap effective weapons = best would be to start with dual scarab rings, and looks like Oversized Maractite Rune Sword is next. but you might be better off saving for Scroll of Knowledge

play games to get some starting cash. you can use that to restock. i like stamps (that includes the different coin/shell shops), books (there are more than one book store) and maybe petpets (there are many petpet stores, but these require u have more money). also all food stores are good, so is toys, plushies, and furniture (more than one) could work well. i ll try to link u to a certain restocking guide i have that has all the shops when i go upstairs, sorry bout that. u rly have to know what ur buying, cuz most items dont make u any profit. mostly the 5k and 10k items in food, stamps, books are best (just use shop wizard to learn. ull lose out on a lot of deals at first)
But yea i hate restocking so id just save up to over 100k and then u can begin trading. check out the trading/auctions forum to see what ppl have for deals. or u can press newest 20 and see what ppl have, and compare to the price of that items. morphing potions, stamps, books, rare foods, paintbrushes etc will be the target.
u can put 15k into stocks a day (buy at 15 and sell when its 30, or more or less). also battledome gives u like 15k-20k depending on the codestones you get. theres no real point in fighting stronger opponenets cuz the it makes no difference in the prizes u get generally.
just play games and enjoy them to start. i like kass basher, meerca chase, tnt smasher, techo says, typing terror, carnival terror, slorgs in space, suteks tomb, bumble beans, s.m.e.l.t., flycatcher, spinacles, gem heist, ice cream machine. sorry these all dont make big neopoints, these are just my favorite games that makes the repetitive restock
also DONT FORGET AUCTIONS. that is a huge tip and is a TLDR do auctions. sorry i almost forgot. shop wiz is ur friend, and trading post once u move past 100k. look for CODESTONES, PAINT BRUSHES, LAB MAP PIECES and lots of other things, esp if they are already being bid on. CHECK PRICES!dont forget exploring, chat boards, and having lots of fun
