Transition Update

Hey everyone, Neopets will begin moving our servers to their new home today (Wednesday, Sept. 17th) likely late this morning NST. As the site will be down, we're reposting the information that is currently visible in New Features so that anyone scratching their heads wondering where Neopia suddenly went can come here and edumacate themselves.

    Transition Update! - The time is finally upon us! The team is ready to go so we'll begin the transition starting tomorrow -- Wednesday, September 17 (NST). Downtime may not start until late morning so we're going to try to sneak in our dailies early. Shhh.

   
    To recap, here's what's happening:

   
        Everything will be down and inaccessible for two or three days. We hope to be back some time on Friday. (We'll update Facebook and Twitter with any information if things change!)
        You'll see a Down for Maintenance Pteri page or a notice that Neopets doesn't exist during this time.
        Your account data and your Neopets are safe and will be waiting for you on the other side.
        Premium and NC Shoppers: We'll be making up for any time/items affected by the downtime! We'll post more information when we return.
        Habitarium and Petpet Park will no longer be accessible after the transition. (Petpet Park members will be getting more information soon.)
        NEW - Key Quest will likely be inaccessible when the site returns but we plan to bring it back up within a week or so afterwards.
        NEW - There will be no New Features updates on these days! This means that Poogle Day will be celebrated when we return. (Fear not, Poogle lovers!) We'll also likely move the Neopian Times to Monday depending on when the transition is done.

       
    That's it! We'll see you on the other side. We won't be rocking back and forth in our office chairs clutching our Neopets plushies while the site's down... probably.


Sigh not again, few days without enjoying my morning coffee doing dalies.

Lol, I cashed out a while ago and spent it all on D2 shit just to end up letting it expire.

Wish I had kept some of my neopets stuff though, Prob worth alot more now,

I play for about an hour a day have been for years, I check this forum every now and then, Rarely sell or buy though I have way to much to risk losing and its rather nice not having to shell and secure things often, And there's way to many people who don't know how to do that for their own safety.

Ya I generally don't trade with people who have no clue what their doing

last time I was iced was cuz some asshat i traded with scammed someone and i ended up getting chain iced through him, lost close a billion nps

now I don't play anymore, i just make nps to sell...so if i get iced, i just restart and keep going...though i don't really get iced much

I haven't been iced in 4 years found a pretty solid way to transfer my things which takes time, I usually restart every year and put everything into a sdb and used it as a shell which is usually so high that transferring things as long as I don't touch sdb box is easy(didn't want to restart this year love my pets but dayum there spoiled), I play a lot and pay attention to the item prices(got notepads up the yin-yang) and buy things weeks before auto buyers can think of it, I am a huge hoarder for complete galleries its sickening, Restarting is going to be easy because im just thinking up galleries for the hell of it now.
