Where do you get rare items (worth millions)? The obvious answer would be "to play" the game, but are there special events/places to frequent that can increase your odds of attaining rare items?

Often there are Special - 101 items that come from codes when you buy items outside of the website. Cards, plushies, etc.

These items become valuable when few of them are released, or in the case of Chokato (tcg), MSPP, etc they are needed for avatars.

Otherwise most items come from Restocking normally. The Neopian shops. The higher the rarity, the less they stock. Price also depends on the demand for the site. Is it a J or I quest item? Do Kads eat it? Is it viable in the BD? Is it one use?

All of these things factor in to pricing and availability.

Can "-101" items only be obtained through codes/items purchased from a source other than the site? Can these items be found from "Something has happened" events in the game?
