Stock market's a long term thing. You basically just keep buying stocks and if one day one of them suddenly supersizes in value, you make the decision to sell in it or not.

Make use of bank interest, too. Over a long time, it starts to add up quickly.

If you want to know how to get up to riches, the way I did it was:

1) Stock market daily.
2) Sell, resell.
3) I never spent more than half a day's earnings unless (related to point 2) I knew for sure it would give me profit in the end.

Pretty much. Every day I'd always spend half of whatever I wanted to invest in on POWR just because the name sounded cool. If I remember right, that was where my first billion came from, or at least began to come from accompanied by selling things. The Neopet wars back then were good times to sell, too, because lots of people liked to train their Neopets like mad ala Codestones and Dubloons, for instance.
