That may be, but from my experience in this sub-forum. A lot of people have been banned for illegal nps.

But if you recieve NP from an account that is scoresending/autobuying to make nps, then they will freeze you.

That does not mean the neopoints were illegitimate. It means by dealing with shady people you got connected to the crime. Also, in my experience if you do legitimate trades with the person they still won't freeze you (ie: you buy something from them for the actual market price, otherwise its pretty obvious they were cheating then selling it to you)

TNT can track suspicious activity if a player gets massive amounts of neopoints through junk or other shady methods

This is why real life trading is always risky in neopets
