ok is it free cause in the patchdl they are talking about pay pal ... and wich server shoud i take (most played on d2jsp for easy trade)

It is free, they talk about paypal because you can buy ingame things for real money and a currency called "silk" which is another currency in the game. I've seen people play Pacific and Rome most, maybe Troy too.
