Diablo ladder is resetting after 6 months and it apparently it's going to reset every 6 months from here on out.
I want to check into other games to play. I like the idea of Sroad.
Is it worth getting into? How hard is it to get started?
I personally, from playing Silkroad for multiple years, and being ENGLISH - This game is NOT worth it.
I'll list a few things why you should NOT play it, and also why you SHOULD play it, let's see here...
NOT:
Too many bots
Everyone is AFK, due to botting
If you don't got money to buy massive amounts of GOLD AND ITEM MALL ITEMS, you won't make it far
You CANNOT grind countlessly and expect to "farm gold" like you could in World of Warcraft
You CAN'T login 99.8% of the time, that .02% is waiting for multiple hours, SOMETIMES you MIGHT get lucky and get in, but it's your ass if you logout (this is where money comes in for item mall premium ticket)
80% of all servers is filled with non-english speaking players, meaning you'll have to deal with spanish, turkish, egyptian, german, etc
20% of all servers has decent english speaking players - The most I found was Server Alps, but this is still a "NOT" due to it's bad
There is NO SUPPORT if you get something STOLEN - If you trust another user and he takes it, IT'S HIS, ONLY THING YOU CAN DO is send a GLOBAL message (sends a yellow message to everyone on the server) saying "blablabla he scammed me"
SHOULD:
It's fun when people are NOT botting, and you're doing trade runs/huting/thiefing/or PvP
..that's only thing I can think of right now for SHOULD
That sums it up.
There's only a thousand more details I could get into, and it's just a waste of your money and time, unless you don't mind to leave your game on 24/7 botting to achieve level 100+, than eventually you'll be able to PvP - due to, if you're not 100+, you'll get murdered in PvP/jobbing/EVERYTHING
