Why do so many ppl play it? A lot of ppl say its bad. But if its good, i wouldnt mind trying it until the d2 ladder starts up again.

What other games is this compared to?

takes too long to level like a year to get capped with a bot lvling 24/7 not worth starting

it's free and its worth the download, I quit a couple years ago though, but you should give it a try :D

this game sucks !!

a couple of years ago it was playable but now it just sucks
the game layout is awesome

BUT
u will need 30 minutes MINIMUM to log in becouse of crowded server
u will need a bot to level max level and the bot even needs 24/7 about 3 month and that only with premium card so you will need to spent money
u will have to farm so much skillpoints or you will never be able to get skills
if You level yourself you will need at level 33 without spenting €€ $$ on game about 800 000 Monsters ( this is really true i played it ) to get level 34
at level 89 you get about for every level 90 monster ~ 0,005 %

i played it 6 month and that was about 6 month ago i dont know any new detector.

Okay so if that all what you say is true i take all back what i said
so there aren't 100 bots logged on everywhere and spambots in citys and quests where you kill 3000x the same monster
if thats all away and if you can always log on now and you dont lag and get kicked off all day if thats all away the game is playable and i take all back.

But if only 10% of the bots, spambots, exp rate, crowded server and so on are still there it still almost isn't playable
where i played it there were so many spambots in town the log on took for ever leveling took 100 times to long and the uniques were killed in 5 sec,s
everywhere i walked i saw bots bots bots and the gold value dropped crazy while i played it, but if u say it changed then okay

one of the reasons i quit was because of the bots...if they really have cut down the amt of bots then i def might start this up again

The game itself is mediocre, but not bad.
The leveling/sp farming system sucks beyond belief, which results in 98% of the players resorting to bots.
The game community BLOWS(if it had one to begin with..) due to bots.
The game company offers minimum customer service.
SOM and SOSUN(items that used to be very very very rare) are now meaningless, being whored out by Joymax(company who owns ISRO, nicknamed Gaymax by ISRO players) with POP(lottery you can only enter if you spend real $)

I played on Iris for around 6 months, had a lvl 99 character. Finally quit like 20 days ago, was lucky enough to sell my main character for $250.

My advice: Don't bother.



Farming sp at higher level is A LOT slower.

As for the supposed "new bot detection system" - they do NOT have one.
The only reason you see less bots now is because of the new update preventing clientless on bots, which means people with PC that are less capable are no longer able to run a lot of clients.
*I was running 8 clients(not clientless) before and after the update without lag.
So you sir, are wrong. Don't give a false statement if you don't know jack shit about how the game works.
