Yeah I was wondering if SilkRoad Online is worth my time. I've heard great things about it but just wanted to make sure. It seems very similar to Knight Online, which is a total fail.

How is the gameplay? Is it laggy? How's the community? Is it just a grind?

What server is decent and what character should I start with?

Any problems with it? Hacks, bad company, anything?

Really would like to try a new game, this one looks nice.

The game is Awesome if u ask me

Sro got problems with Bots but maybe them get the problem off

u can choose any server u want i would prefere a new server because them are more empty

It give not rly a weopen / skill that is best for u u need to start the game and play

The Community is okay but not that great

Silkroat isnt laagy if ur PC is good enaught but the Servers are always full and u need sometimes long time to log in if u dont try like into morning or night to login

Does the servers get fulll and you can't log in?

MOre populated (older servers) get full at prime hours and you can't get on for awhile.

Its a big grindfest, but its still a pretty fun game
I don't play it anymore because i'm disgusted with grindfests ><

My opinion about this game is that it would be ok for a free mmorpg
but due to the fact that about 50% of the population
and about 90% of all lvl 60+ers are botters it is not a good game at all imo.

am 80 >.> and legit, i did tht char in 5months w.o using much silks, theres not many players over 60 but there is and its still a good game

i used to play this game a lot, but then i'm really turned off about how you need the item mall to be competitive

yes the game itself is FREE -- but it is painful misery when you know your neighbor with a gold ticket (13 or 20 USD, depending on the version) is leveling twice as fast

and with the constant server traffic (unable to log on and DISCONNECT after a failed attempt), joymax has added the premium gold ticket which lets people who spend real money bypass peak hours and log on no matter what

rumors have it that joymax is also behind the botters on its own servers, but i doubt this is true

anyways, u gotta pay to if u really want to play this

Yeah, partially why the leveling takes so long is because honestly you're suppose to pay for it..
Basically you level 100% faster with a gold ticket.. so honestly with that it wouldn't be that bad
But just a little knowledge for you, at like level 35 it takes about 1000-1500 mob kills to level with a 0gap(depending on how many giants or giant party mobs you kill)
With a 9 gap it'd take 10's of thousands. With a good build you can kill a mob in like 2-3 hits sometimes 1 or 2, so its not hard, its just a huge grindfest
