for a spear your gonna want armor or ptorector (not garment)
both nukes and spear attacks

i recommend fire if you wanna be a leveling MACHINE because its strongest and youll kill anything up to 10 levels higher than u in 2 hits easy.
i recommend lightning if you wanna kill 2 or 3 things at once. if you do this you HAVE to grind on white mobs because 2 or 3 red will slaughter you
i recommend ice if you wanna focus more on pvp or hit and run techniques. its the weakest but slows the enemy a great deal
youll absolutely own PvM but when it comes to pvp youll be limited. youll be able to EASILY kil any one 5 levels below you no matter their build...and if they are int youll be able to kill them as high as 10 above you (when its comes down to an int fight it pretty much comes down to who shoots the first nuke. Now on the other hand if ytou have SoS gear and weapons, youll be able to kill things your level if they are str (youll NEVER kill a str that is higher then you unless you have sun...they just do too much and you have just too few HP) and players as high as 15 higher then u. i used a sos+6 spear with pimped blues when i was lvl 52 and killed a lvl 64 inter. if you zerk...you can easily kill a 66 if you use the sos+5 or +6 weapon. as for STR...like i said good luck...a pure str 64 glaiver has close to or more than 10k HP and your zerked nukes (of the same lvl) will only do 6k...and then they will heal and beat out your nukes. and hell do about 8k to you...problem is you only have roughly 4k. 4.8 if you know what your doing and your gear is pimped.
so all-in-all...it all depends on what you wanna do...PvM, PvP, or grey grinding...i went pure int, spear, nukes/spear, fire...and with a GT i leveled up like this...(and yes i record everything i get per day...i could even tell you how many SP i got...)
~please note i have anything from 6-24 hours every day to grind~
day 1 = lvl 1-20
day 2 = lvl 20-25
day 3 = lvl 25-30
day 4 = lvl 30-34
day 5 = lvl 34-37
day 6 = lvl 37-40
day 7 = lvl 40-42 (this is when my quests ran out and i had my first taste of raw grinding)
day 8 = lvl 42-44
day 9 = lvl 44-47 (the bunwang Q gave me a nice boost)
day 10 = 47-49
Day 11 = 49-51
Day 12 = 51-53
every day past that...i leveld up one time a day without fail unless i wasnt home or had a super bad day...im currently level 67 running a 0 level gap, and a GT and a SP ticket. if you use BOTH tickets (pgt and sp) you will NOT FALL SHORT of sp needed for skills. ive got 4 in spears, 4 in fire, 3 in light, 4 in ice and i have enough sp to keep up with those. and with a 0 lvl gap you maximize and optimimize the exp gain, and with the triple SP from the pgt and sp tick...you get over 1 ps per kill using a 0 gap...its a beautiful thing. The ONLY problem is you level up so god damn fast from 1-52 that buying anything but NPC gear until then wouldnt be worth the money. when you hit 52 buy a sos+5-9 weapon, and NPC gear (thatll take about 80 total) When you hit 64 buy sos everything (thats gonna cost you around 500 mil total) and when you hit 72 buy a +7 weapon and from then on your set untill the level cap raises. if you dont believe me...give it a whirl...if your not 52 by the end of week 2...then your either not trying hard or dont have the time. Just adjust the times on my leveling to how much tyime you can play...im sure itll be close to the same proportions.
