the thing that changed is necs are playing wsgstyle and some are really good at it while in times of ZeN if you mention it, nobody could really do this, they were mostly trying to teleport around map and catch a druid in a ibs train followed by teeth
also if you mention ZeN, look at Chris' vids and some of trapper vids from these days, I'm kinda changing subject but this is a good example of how players improved. I don't want to offend him or anything but when you look at his vids now you could think it's a comedy or something and back in those times he was #1 trapper on euro.

the way you understand what he told you is insanely egocentric. He didn't even tell you actual players were far better than old ones, he told you playstyles have changed.

It doesn't mean older players wouldn't have been able to play the way new players do, it just means old players didn't know/didn't try to play this way.

And he says the actual way of some players in some difficult match-up makes this match-up a bit less advantaged for the one who has it.

What is wrong is very simple dude : even if he tried to explain all this, and then you have the point of view of what we can call a very good player, you're still sceptical. What do you want else then ? why do you even ask things if you're not ready to accept answers ?
