actually login ping measures the distance fromt he server to you not your actual ping
that is login ping
jer actually averages 200ish on realms with better latency than d2pk
so go ahead and do the math

sigh "in game ping" is affected by distance from the server also. "login ping" is just your ping at the moment of login which is usually lower than your in game ping because you are not doing as many interactions with the server

no the "login ping" is the distance because at login the ping is only affected by the distance! you're "ping" is affected by much more than distance

if you actually played a private realm you could have an argument

but you don't

most people ping lower or equivalent to their log-in ping

i'm usually lower / equal with my log-in

the only reason anything higher occurs is something client-side effecting the internet speed, or something server side effecting the speed, or bad internet

distance could come into play as well but if you'll notice in some of the screenshots the downs child posted, he has >100 ping in them

your logic is flawed yet again, and i don't think i need to argue any more points as i've just proven everything to you with evidence, as you so seem to desperately need when someone proves you wrong

should shut you the fuck up

apparently i have to play a private realm to have an argument on ping
you haven't provided one piece of evidence, do you even know what that word means? i doubt it.

ping can be inconsistent, you can log in with all different pings[depending on the servers you're re-routing through] but it is usually around the same. login ping is affected by your distance from the server, but as is all ping. login ping is not affected by as many sources as active ping, which is why it's generally lower.

the code for ping no, but yes fps. they have random memory leaks throughout like when you kill shenk

well yeah but we were talking about ping

it is hilarious tho how certain areas lag in this shitty ass game regardless of how good your comp is just due to how archaic the coding is

your argument was his ping not being able to be better than his login which he posted s/s's proving it wasn't

there was my evidence

and the servers garbage period statistically, with what you're referencing to, but that's not my area to argue as i've seen it argued and know it to be true, but i don't statistically nor can i express myself with the necessary vocabulary to prove this point but on a better server things seem to be a LOT different
