quickly someone give this kid a had math or chem problem!
so you havent had sex in 2-3 years and say you are 19, and already banged 10 girls. Id say those are not very good life decisions...dont get me wrong I wanted to get into the pants of girls during college/HS but the fear of impregnating 1 and paying alimony for the next 10 years kept me on my toes
problem #3 out of my old statistics textbook. Solve this for me, we will start off easy and go harder and harder. time to put that high ass iq to the test
:
#Researchers report that on average freshman who live on campus gain 15 pounds during their first year in college. You survey 10 of your friends and find that the average weight gain the first year was 16.2 lbs (s.d. = 2.6). How does weight gain among your friends compare to the national average? Assume an alpha level of .05
this is 10th grade math so you should crack this down in like 5 minutes
have no idea. initially the question seems in need of clarification because it says the average is 15 lbs and that your friends gained an average of 16.2. How do your friends compare? they gained an average of 1.2 more lbs than a random group of 10 kids. there are different sorts of intelligence if you didn't know. I can multiply large numbers in my head but i'd have to go over and study that sort of stuff. haven't done it in years
albert Einstein didn't know how to take apart and put back together a car engine but that doesn't mean he wasn't intelligent.
a lot of it is also familiarity with a language. I don't know what an alpha level is. When you talk to someone on here regarding the actual game diablo 2, you might say things like "use a s d f hotkeys" or "ber 4 jah?" or "125 fcr to hit the bp, but you might be able to use a lower one." no one who is unfamiliar with this video game would be tempted to describe someone using such language as particularly intelligent by virtue of that language use alone... the only thing that distinguishes the noob from the person using the esoteric language is that the person using it has experience with the game. it is what they spend time doing. in the same way, if someone doesn't have their head in text books all the time it doesn't mean students who can pick up the book and solve a problem are smarter or more intelligent. but for some reason in the latter case people have a tendency to describe that person as more intelligent because they know how to do a specific task. but it is not necessarily the case.
i always had good grades but can recall specifically inorganic 1 and 2 being pretty easy for me -while earning my associates degree- where it was difficult for others. if you asked me to retake all the exams right now, though, without spending time going over the book again, i'd probably have no idea what i was doing.
there are some exceptions to this obviously, but those are the really smart people, like a tesla or godel. it sounds large- and it is relative to the general population- but having an IQ a little over 140 is really not very impressive. i always find it strange when people seem to think it is.
