Hey, anybody ever play classic team duels back in the day?

It's very different than what most people are used to, since no characters can teleport other than sorceress; and there are no builds that are OP.
Here's a small example in this video that was shot the other day on a classic only pvp server.


you might notice that there are no mods/trigs whatsoever on here. Just raw pvp skills!

Also I know a lot of you guys are going to say that spamming juvs / bone walls is boring etc. but that's just part of the teamwork in a BM team duel

There are a bunch of european players on the server, including both Admin's and half of the mod team. none seem to have an issue with ping ever.

Which class would be OP?

well on LoD, there is a two page long list of rules for a BAD MANNER duel... which makes no sense since bad manner is supposed to mean no rules.
The reason for that list is because there are a lot of ways to make yourself nearly invincible (max absorb % for a svs, necro reviving brutes, etc.)
Classic doesn't have any such rule set because there is no way to make your characters cheaply invincible like that.
