does the level matter ?
i mean, is there a difference if i evolve it at lvl XY or 100?

Hey Kroko! long time no see!

looking back on earlier gens, there shouldnt be (each evolution have thair respective base stats, so your growth is the same nomatter what level)
especially since we have pretty easy acces to heart scales (lower evolutions tend to learn moves at earlier levels, and some have exclusive moves)
