FYI it's gonna take till the poketransfer patch b4 we start seeing sun moon competitives, atleast 1-2 weeks b4 p ivs are breed its just a matter of time.

I think pokebank doesn't come out 'til January, so none of our competitive pokes from X and Y can be xferred over. Q_Q

careful if you have hackmons. gamefreak have been banhammer happy

How do you decide what is perfect?
Is it preference?
Or do certain pokemon have better IVs to get

I would assume someone like Alakazam would want special attack.. but would special defense be bad?

Would health on gengar be bad?


I try to just keep catching the same pokemon until they have the IV and EV I want.

I don't know any science behind it though. What one's are the most desirable.






I need Mew, Any Starters besides the bird/leaf guy you start w in this gen. I have almost nothing for trade. I do have a Machamp, Alakazam, and Gengar, but I really like them.

There is a Iv checker in the resort area plus if you know evs + lvl you can calculate ivs to be sure.

then you get a nature that also has attack

or is that not exactly right?

Like to thrash about, when you see that message it means this pokemons highest Iv is attack when compared to others ivs. That's only so much information, if u Wana know exactly what ivs are there u need to do a calculate that shit and or go to the Iv checker ingame.

Nature is different from ivs or evs.

Adamant +10% base attack, -10% base special attack.
You can have an Adamant pokemon with 1 attack Iv there are not connected.


Ivs =individual values which are fixed up until sun and moon 1-31.
Evs=effort value is gained by defeating/training pokemon max 510 evs in total 252 max per state, u have 6 evs left over. FYI 4ev points=1 hard state point so you only have +1 to a state after you max 2.

Nature modifies base stat by +10%/-10% or it will be one of 5 neutral nature's which are rather useless
