What one are you getting and why? You can trade all exclusives right, will it be available early in the game? What if you breed a traded pokemon, and get a new one will it have your name under the owner of the Pokemon?

solgaleo - steel psychic one of the best typings in the game with access to flare blitz, easy choice

lunala - psychic ghost one of the worst defensive typings being 4x weak to sucker punch, as well as pursuit

trading is usually available by the 2nd town i believe? and yes if you breed a traded pokemon the newborn will have your OT tag

Hmm. The only thing that kinda bothered me about the Lion is that he wasn't fire type. I didn't know lunala was that weak.
The 12 hour time thing on it too, so when you play moon at night it's day on the game.. I'm a night owl lol.

solgaleo is based on the alchemic symbolism of the "beast who devoured the sun." much of the game is based around the central concept of alchemy

old alchemists back in the day had a theory that the sun was not fire, but actually a molten ball of iron. hence why solgaleo is not a fire type, but a steel type

Oh cool I didn't read up much about that. Im really considering Sun too.

Really doesn't matter what you pick. Thanks to online communities you'll have easy access to any version exclusive pokemon.

I'm personally picking Moon because more people will choose Sun solely based on the mascot.
dont get me wrong I like his design, but lunala was a great offensive typing in Ghost/Psychic and with a way better ability thats pretty much multiscale
Is it weak to dark types Shore. but arent most dragons weak to ice and an abundant amount of fairies. 4x weakness doesnt mean a pokemon is bad
1. its probably gonna be ubers anyway and if it is going against a team with a dark type, make sure your team helps you out.
