A new promotion has been announced in Pokémon GO. From October 26th to November 1st, a new promotion goes live in Pokémon GO to celebrate Halloween. During this promotion, the Pokémon Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Zubat, Golbat, Drowzee and Hypno will be more likely to appear. Buddy Pokémon will also distribute Candy in a quarter of the usual time and the Candy rewards from catching Pokémon and transferring them to Professor Willow shall be doubled

This promotion is to celebrate Halloween and as such, it alters the mechanics to tie in with the concept of Trick or Treating

Changes
The following Pokémon will appear more:
Zubat
Golbat
Drowzee
Hypno
Gastly
Haunter
Gengar
Candy from captures is increased from 3 to 6
Candy from transfers is increased from 1 to 2
Candy from Buddy Pokémon appear four times as often

Fuck yea, gonna lvl up my dragonite and arcanine, maybe snorlax also.

Btw anyone know best move set for dragonite? Dragon breath/ claw righ?

Yay more zubat that will drain ur pokeballs

I have actually seen like 1 zubat out of the many other pokemon I've encountered.
found on my way home.
(2) Gengar
(14) Gastly and Haunters
(4) Cubones
(1) Marowak
(3) Drowzee
and 1 zubat before event started

also found alot more meowth than usual
