So I already understand that IV's are fairly important late game but I need some clarification.

So here is what im struggling with.

I have a 150 Magikarp, as well as a 211 Magikarp.

The 150 is 100% IV (from an egg)

The 211 is 91% IV (Attack is its strongest attribute)

The bar is pretty much maxed on the 211, but still a 1/4th on the 150.


Will the 150 be able to get pushed further with dust and candies then the 211, or should I just invest into the 211 because it will be stronger right out the gate.

Also can a 100% IV be pushed to max no matter what, or does it have to be a fairly high CP level already on top of 100% IV?

use the 100%.
The 91% will get less cp per level (not much) but then 100% will end up passing it anyways.

level up the 100iv

you will need like 50k dust more to level it to max over the 91IV
but it will be worth it

But first you have to evolve both of them see with move set you get if u get both twister then ur fuck lol

Evolve them and power up the one with the better moveset.

but really 91% is already great I would go with that one to save dust for another pokemon i would like to power up. The difference with the 100% one will be very small

i agree with evolving both to see what attack move they get. i think attack is more important than 9% iv

the difference between the 91% and 100% isnt going to be that much difference when maxed out, realistically at lvl 40 itll be about 50cp at most
