I know pikachu sits on your shoulder after x amount of distance. I was told after walking like 10km, whatever pokemon you have as a buddy will walk by your side. My buddy is a magikarp and he hasn't appeared next to me and ive walked 19km so far. Does magikarp not do it?

I did 30km with Geodude, never shows up walking behind me. Not sure what your talking about.

I know If you put Eevee in he sits on your shoulder but never on the actual map I thought
