I play only legit on my account and have a blast.

So I decided to bot an account today to see what the fuss was all about.

I bought a decent one, made an account and didn't realize it was linked to my main account since I didn't recall the e-mail I put it on.

I used a throwaway, and realized the Google account was somehow linked to my throwaway.

Botting for 30 minutes, and it gets banned and I go... "oh, well that was a waste of 9.99$" and just laugh it off.

Log on main as I'm about to head to store, no gyms/stops. I'm like, oh God what have I done. Check and realize my error.

I wonder if they'll unban it, I feel so derp. Tried making a new account and I can't see gyms or anything on that either.

Am I boned?

Wow, I actually got unbanned.

They got rid of all my Pokemon names though... and I managed to make another account with the same name which made me know it was banned.

Shocked they unbanned me.

what'd you do?

I e-mailed them saying, "I've never botted my account. Why have I been banned, or appears to have been banned?"

Didn't message me back, but randomly saw the gym next to my house pop up.

well if you can log in, i think just soft ban
what email you contact?

I used their appeal forms, and nah wasn't a soft ban because I could use my name on a new account.
