Delia Ketchum was once a novice pokemon trainer who retired early to start a family with her new husband, Delia and her husband both had a child who they named Ash Ketchum. One day before he reached the age of 10 he was killed in a terrible accident which split the family apart causing the late ash's father to leave Delia. The death of Delia's son hurt her so badly that she got her ditto she trained when she was a young trainer to transform into her dead son to live out a fantasy that her son is still alive.

Her deceased son always wanted to be a pokemon master so she sent off her ditto (ash) to try to become a pokemon trainer to fulfill that dream in his name which is where the story of the pokemon anime begins...

Ash does not age because he's a ditto who transformed into the shape of a 10 year old boy living out that dead boys dreams.

Yeah Ditto can. It could replicate speech when it impersonated team rockets meowth. So if it inherits those properties, it could also impersonate speech as a human.

Ash stays 10, because thats the target audiences age.

The devs stated that.

What about the Ho-oh theory from episode one?

ez question pokemon come 1996 and first episode come 1st april 1997 in this time he allready know would be more generatios thats way put ho-oh in first episode.... NEXT xD

it's cause he died i nthe first pokemon movie and all the pokemons tears broguth him to life with everlasting life

so all of his friends are dittos too?

If ash was a ditto, Ash clone would have to have ditto's eyes and mouth unless it's has imposter which is gen 5?

Also I believe pikachu's thunder put him in a coma when the spearows attacked
