How can you add pokemon to a gym that your team already owns? I see some I can, I have the option, and some doesn't have the option. I don't understand.

You have to beat your own team members to increase gym prestige...with prestige increases comes extra slots.

So, when I've been able to join it just meant there was an open slot?
