Went to the beach with my gf. Got back to car. My car was parked by a gym. Decided to start battling the gym in the car. Two 12 year old boys start circling around my car (twice), as if that's normal, peering in. On the second round about my car they ask if we're battling the gym. My girlfriend says "no?". They start walking around a bit further away from the car, but keep peering back at us as if trying to figure out what we're doing.

That pissed me off. Social skills out the window. Stalking level pretty high.

Then I went to a different beach with my girlfriend tonight, and the pier was jam packed with people playing the game. Four pokestops all packed together on the pier. People weren't enjoying the starry night or the ocean breeze, just playing pokemon. I wasn't playing, but I pulled out my phone once we left the pier to see what was stationed at it.

Fuck this game. I thought I could enjoy it here and there, sort of like a pass-time sort of thing, on walks. It's not social it's just weird. It's off my phone.

Except this is a "social" thing. You are the weird person going out into public playing a social game and then acting like a royal douche when they ask you a question...

Go sit at home and play pokemon on the gameboy, that seems more your style.

second person on here i found that think people care about their opinion on whether or not they play the game. Noone cares. Stop wasting your time posting to a forum on a game that you are not going to be play. Go look at the stars instead

It's a social game. They saw the gym being attacked and assumed it was you, which they were correct. Then you lied to them not sure if out of shame or just lack of social skills but regardless your gf sucks at it because they knew.

How about you just be friendly and say yes, and then ask which team they are?

Why announce it as if anyone cares? If you quit then quit, uninstall the damn game and move on, I don't go on here and post a thread every time I take a massive shit.
