Yea either or as stated above. The 3ds will have red and blue covers i think that come with it along with the games pre installed. Anyone know when the games will be available to download in NA?

bought yellow as well last night. never played yellow and found out pikachu doesnt evolve..that kinda sucks but owell haha

i went into the trading thing and it looks like you need to be connected to the same wifi as the person your trading with, can anyone confirm how this works? i was really hoping for online system of some sort

Far as I know there is no online with these 3 games. Only Local wireless battle/trading. Not like it matters much anyway... I wont be transferring any of these, they would all suck anyway. Gonna transfer all my ORAS shinies/mons though

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say most people probably bought the game simply to be able to Transfer Mew to Sun/Moon later on. Or it's just for those who want that nostalgia for the game and then transferring off the pokemon to Sun/Moon for that reason. It is the first time since generation 2 that we could transfer Pokemon directly from Red/Blue/Yellow to any future games.

Or if you are into competitive gaming, TM's like Fissure to get it on something like a Machamp will make Machamp an even greater competitive battler than it's current standing and other unique TMs that were never made again outside of Generation 1, to create those unique movesets for competitive gaming. The battling community is going to change a bit with some of the move setups coming from this.

Nah As long as I can transfer from ORAS to sun/moon i'll have an entire battle ready shiny dex already setup to go. Didn;t buy Yellow myself for any other reason other than nostalgia and to play it with my stepkid who is 9. And seeing as most people play smogon rules, Fissure will be banned anyway <.< same as all other ohko moves and evasion clause, sleep clause, yada yada. Not much is gonna change unless sun.moon are WAY different than XY/ORAS.

And no offense to RBY, but there's nothing worth catching and transferring via bank from these games. I only collect legit perfect shinies, and events here n there.
