Yup got typhlosion and these are his moves

Flamethrower > grass/ice/bug/steel
Thunder Punch > water/flying
Mud Slap > fire/electric/poison/rock/steel (will be earthquake when I get)

That leaves 1 more move for him to learn which idk

And I need 1 more pokemon

The ones im deciding between are

Hypno
Kadabra
Wigglytuff

The other types are

Normal (not worried bout it much as only few gyms have it)
Fighting
Ground
Psychic
Ghost
Dragon
Dark

Plz lmk what 1 to choose and what typhlosions last move should be need moves to beat all types
Lmk what pokemon is best and why plz

Hypno would be cool for fighting/psychic/ghost and a dragon type i believe dratini are available in the dragon type gym's shrine dragonite with a flying/dragon attack could knock out the remainder of your list of super effective moves

K so I decided between gyarados or hypno

Gyarados
More hp
More attack
More defense
More speed

Hypno
More spec attack (by 13)
More spec defense (by 15)
Will specs matter that much with the little difference between them?

Only thing if I go gyarados have no advantage over fighting but again only 2 leaders to worry bout
Gyarados has more resistances

Gyarados is a great choice i completely forgot, the move sets are great. Its personal preference hypnosis would be unique but overall i think gyarados' s versatility makes it the best choice just look out for lightning lol

Gyrados sucks in gen 2

He learns almost no water moves and in gen 2, all water attacks use special attack for damage which is his lowest stat. Most u get out of him is hyper beam or whatever a good flying type tm is maybe..

if gayrados is still flying/water in some of the later generations as well, then beware of his 4x weakness to electrics, which gonna suck hard.
