Is Platinum the same game as Diamond and Pearl? I found the Diamond/Pearl Guide for $4 as a local thrift store and picked it up, but realized I have Soul Silver (Nice, worth a few bucks lol) and Platinum. The games look to be the same, but have different guides for each.

There is always minor things different. Sometimes it's the Pokemon you can catch, other times it's where an item is located.

Also part of the storyline is completely different. Platinum was such a good game for playthroughs.
